of Minnesota. <br />E. "Business" -refers to the business of leasing properties for home <br />occupation purposes. <br />F. "City Approved Inspector's Report" or "Inspection Report" means a Rental <br />Dwelling inspection report prepared and signed by an Inspector licensed by <br />the City of Little Canada. <br />G. "City Administrator" means the Little Canada City Administrator or his or her <br />designee. <br />H. "Dwelling" means a building or one or more portions of a building occupied <br />or intended to be occupied for residential purposes.. <br />I. "License Holder" -refers to the owner of the property licensed to lease to <br />residents. <br />J. "Occupant" or "'T'enant" means any person living or sleeping in a Dwelling <br />Unit, or having possession of a space within a Dwelling Unit. <br />K. "Operator" or "Manager" means any person who has charge, care or control <br />of a stzvcture or premises that is let or offered for occupancy. <br />L. "Owner" or "Licensee" means any person, agent Operator, firm, or <br />corporation having a legal or equitable interest in the property or recorded in <br />the official state, county or City records as holding title to the propezty or <br />otherwise having control of the property. <br />M. "Multiple Family Dwellings" means a residential building or complex <br />consisting of four or more units undea• common ownership. <br />N. "Person" -one (I) or more natural pezsons; a partnership, including a limited <br />partnership; a corporation, including a foreign, domestic, or nonprofit <br />corporation; a trust; a political subdivision of the State; or any other business <br />organisation. <br />O. "Rental Dwelling" means any Dwelling used for residential occupancy by one <br />or more Persons who are not the Owner or a member of the Owner's Family. <br />P. "Rental Housing Appeals Board" shall be the Little Canada Planning <br />Commission, <br />Q. "Rental Inspector" means independent inspector who is initially licensed in a <br />city of the first class as a Truth in Sale of Housing Inspector or Evaluator and <br />then subsequently licensed by the City of Little Canada. <br />R. "Single Family rental dwelling" means a residential building consisting of <br />three units or less under common ownership, <br />3200.40. LICENSING: <br />A. License Required. No person, partnership, business entity, or corporation shall lease <br />any unit upon real property for residential purposes any place in the city without first <br />obtaining a license and paying a license fee. Licenses are required for each unit of a <br />building. <br />B. Applications. An application for license shalt be made on a form provided by the <br />City.
