CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />PARRS AND RECREATION CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET <br />Page 2 <br />ESTIMATED <br />COST <br />PIONEER PARKING LOT EXPANSION (CENTERVILLE ROAD) --------- <br />This use prohibits circulation within the Centerville lot, Continued <br />making it difficult for cars to exit it once they have <br />entered and were unable to find a parking stall. (See Parks <br />and Recreation Director's memo dated 12/27/93). <br />PIONEER PARK SHELTER <br />A picnic shelter which would provide the same type of use $45 000 <br />by people as the two existing shelters in Spooner Park. <br />This was in the original plans for the park. Once the <br />proposed play areas are constructed on the east side of <br />the park, this shelter should be very desireable for picnics. <br />PIONEER VOLLEYBALL COURT <br />A sand volleyball court which was in the original plans for $ 5,000 <br />the park. Proposed for the east side of the park. <br />PIONEER AND NADEAU LANDSCAPING <br />Necessary to complete the original plans for landscaping $25,000 <br />both parks. Items may include additional trees, shrubs, <br />flowers, etc. Maintenance implications of planned <br />plantings will also be considered. <br />PIONEER PARKING LOT EXPANSION (DESOTO STREET) <br />Additional parking will be needed in this area to $25,000 <br />acommodate future development of volleyball, playlot, <br />and picnic facilities. <br />PAVING OF TRAILS AT PIONEER PARK <br />This will complete the trails that exist now in the park. $30,000 <br />Major improvements were completed late in 1994 by adding <br />gravel and leveling these trail sections, but blacktop <br />surfacing is needed for completion of the original plan. <br />
