<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Eric Seaburg, P.E., City Engineer <br /> <br />DATE: October 11, 2023 <br /> <br />RE: Partial Payment #5 – Twin Lake Boulevard Improvements <br /> <br /> <br />ACTIONS TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to approve Partial Pay Estimate No. 5 to Minnesota Paving and Materials in the amount <br />of $144,554.73. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The total amount earned by the Contractor to date is $1,344,202.40. The amount paid previously <br />is $1,132,437.55. Withholding a 5% retainage, the amount due is $144,554.73. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />Street and utility improvements will be funded through the City’s Infrastructure Capital <br />Improvement Fund, special assessments, a cost-sharing Agreement with the City of Vadnais <br />Heights, and a grant received through Ramsey County’s Community Development Block Grant <br />Program. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve payment in the amount of $144,554.73. <br />
