<br /> <br />Highlights: <br />• Weather can play a significant role especially when considering permits for roofing <br />and siding. Number of building permits to date at 401 versus 374 in prior year. The <br />slight increase is due to more permits in Q2 of the current year than Q2 of prior <br />year, 80 permits versus 42 in the month of June, majority roofing permits. This <br />increase in permits is due last year’s fall weather that caused a lot of damage to <br />roofs and siding. Some of the roof and siding work repair has been done this year. <br />• Building Permit Valuation comparable with last year. The increase in permits and <br />valuation in 2022 and 2023 when compared with the prior year’s (2019-2021) <br />mainly attributable to the Twin Lake Blvd project that began in 2022. <br /> <br />
