Zoning Code Section 915.020 <br />Accessory Buildings in Residential Districts, Generally, allows for accessory structures that <br />exceed 1,000 square feet by Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />What is a Conditional Use Permit? <br />CUP is an abbreviation for Conditional Use Permit. A Conditional Use Permit is a use that is only <br />permitted in a zoning district under the Zoning Code, if certain conditions, designated by the City <br />Council, Planning Commission, or specified in the Zoning District, are met. <br /> <br />Zoning Code Section 915.020 Accessory Buildings in Residential Districts, Generally <br />C. Lot Coverage. <br /> <br />1. No individual accessory building or detached garage for a single-family dwelling shall <br />occupy more than 30 percent of the rear yard. <br /> <br />2.
