<br />2 <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />Funding for this work would be provided by the General Capital Improvement Fund (400). Please <br />note that unbudgeted or items over budget always decrease the fund balance more than currently <br />projected, however, in the short term the fund shows the ability to absorb this expenditure. It is <br />expected that additional funding will be needed in the Capital Improvement Fund 400 since the <br />current fund projection shows a negative fund balance starting with the year 2027. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: <br />The City Council is asked to consider a Motion to Approve one of the following three options for the <br />installation of the park entrance signs: <br /> <br />1) Authorize the low bid from Albrecht Companies in the amount of $36,846. <br />2) Direct staff to install the signs in-house with the landscaping (due to the limited remaining <br />time in the season and staff capacity this would be coordinated during the spring of 2024). <br />3) Direct staff to install the signs in-house without the additional landscaping.
