INTRODUCTION
The City of Little Canada initiated the Labore Road Corridor Study to better understand public
perceptions and critical corridor needs along the roadway from Centerville Road to County Road
D. This segment of Labore Road is a significant east-west connector roadway that bisects the City
and provides access to neighborhoods, businesses, schools, and public amenities like parks and
trails. For years, City staff have received complaints from residents that the roadway is unsafe for
both motorists, pedestrians, and property owners along the roadway. The primary goals of the
corridor study were to:
1. determine the corridor deficiencies through both community input and technical
review,
2. determine which possible improvements were feasible and supported by the
community,
3. determine the timeframe, cost, and funding options for possible improvements, and
4. document the process for use by future decision makers.

Exhibit 1 – Corridor Study Area
