<br /> <br />CONCLUSION: <br />Higher water rates are projected mainly due to larger wholesale water rate increases by SPRWS, as a <br />result of the building of the McCarrons Treatment Plant. The above rates would need to be evaluated on a <br />yearly basis to most current projections for operating expenditures and capital infrastructure needs. <br /> <br />SEWER RATES PROJECTIONS: <br />Due to the 2023 to 2024 Municipal Wastewater Charge increasing by 17.62%, the following rate <br />increases are projected in order to operate the sewer fund: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />As it can be noted in the graph bellow, with the proposed sewer rates increases the sewer fund is <br />anticipated to maintain a positive cash balance, approximately 3 months of operating expenditures.
