2

• Storm Sewer Improvements
The storm sewer systems within the project area were reviewed and found to require some
rehabilitation. Improvements to structures and pipes will be made as necessary to ensure the
storm sewer system can provide good long-term service for the new roadway.

An informational meeting was held with affected property owners from Country Drive on September
26, 2023. The road section will be
improved with the addition of 12” of sand, 8” of gravel and 4” of bituminous pavement.
B618 curb & gutter will be installed over the project area with valley gutter helping delineate
the road where curb is not practical. Residents and businesses will get concrete aprons for
their driveway entrances.

• Watermain & Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Consistent with past projects, the underground watermain and sanitary sewer utility systems
have been reviewed for overall condition and long-term integrity.
