CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2023-146 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR CONGRESSIONALLY DIRECTED <br />SPENDING FOR THE LITTLE CANADA ROAD AND COUNTRY DRIVE <br />INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada supports the request for Congressional Directed Spending <br />(CDS) for the project identified as the Little Canada Road and Country Drive Intersection <br />Improvement Project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Project would be regionally significant, providing improved safety <br />and mobility for vehicles and pedestrians at a major intersection that provides access to <br />residential and commercial properties throughout the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Project would result in improved safety and mobility for vehicles and <br />pedestrians at the west ramp terminals of the Interstate 35-E interchange with Little Canada <br />Road, as well as improved operation of the entire interchange; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Little Canada has a willingness to secure and guarantee the local share <br />of costs associated with this project and responsibility for seeing this project through to its <br />completion, with compliance of all applicable laws, rules and regulations; and, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada; that <br /> <br />1.
