  <br />The City budgets investment income as part of the budget process so it is helpful to understand the <br />coupons (interest rate) for the cash and investments. As it can be noted bellow the city still has a <br />large percentage 41% or $4,987,723.39 of its total invested balance with a coupon under 1%. As <br />these investments mature in the next 3 years it will allow for possible better investing opportunities. <br /> <br />Overall the average coupon for all of the investments is around 2.586%. Based on the average <br />coupon rate the projected interest earnings range for all available cash for 2024 is between <br />$400,000-$480,000.
