We, the undersigned, residing at 2837 Centerville Rd, and 2849 Centerville Rd, Little Canada, MN 55117,
hereby call to attention the previous addition of vinyl fence, 6 feet tall, 66 feet long, between the
properties listed above. Afroz Khan and Mike Pelzer represent the dwellers of the properties divided by
the aforementioned fence. Under the circumstances below, we seek City approval of variance to allow
the existing fence to remain present.
(a) Both parties consent, and have no objection, to the existing position of the fence.
(b) The fence replaces once-present Evergreen trees which restricted view into the property of
2837 Centerville Road.
(c) The lack of such a fence has resulted in a heightened rate of displeasing, and sometimes,
unlawful activity, on the property (2837) by others, including:
a. Theft of an ATV (reported to authorities)
b. Defamation and structural damage to a mobile basketball hoop
c. Increase in unauthorized pedestrian activity on property by virtue of greater exposure
(d) Most importantly, the safety of the inhabitants of the properties is of utmost concern, as many
times, movements into and out of the households is easily viewed from a distance. This is of
concern because Afroz and her child sometimes arrive home during later hours into the night
and a fence would provide a greater sense of security and tranquility while her husband serves
military duty overseas.
Signed,
Afroz Khan
Date
~.
