CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2024-5-55 <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION TO THE IIJA ACTIVE <br />TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRCTURE INVESTMENT PROGRAM FOR <br />PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE PLANNING & DESIGN <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is eligible to apply for Active Transportation Infrastructure Investment <br />Program funding pedestrian bridge planning and design; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan and current Sidewalk and Trail Map indicates <br />the need for a grade-separated pedestrian crossing over I-35E; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed pedestrian bridge would improve community connectivity for non- <br />motorists to access the important destinations throughout the region. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little <br />Canada; that <br /> <br />1. The City of Little Canada supports an application to the IIJA Active Transportation <br />Infrastructure Investment Program; and <br /> <br />2.
