<br />Staff did not include a radius distance from uses such as churches and schools for THC since there <br />would be at least one existing business potentially in violation of a distance radius from a school, and <br />only a couple of cities have this requirement for THC sales. A distance radius will be strongly <br />considered when Council begins discussing the regulations for cannabis-only businesses. <br /> <br />Staff recommends the licensing cycle for THC/cannabinoid products should be annual and run January <br />1 – December 31, with an annual license fee of $400. If Council is supportive of this, staff will bring <br />the ordinance to an upcoming City Council meeting to adopt the new city code chapter. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Review draft City Code Chapter 826, Cannabinoid Products.
