<br />BUDGET: <br />No city matching funds are required as part of this project. <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN INITATIVE: <br />The Enhancing Identity and Empowering Community Strategic Direction includes several action <br />items this program supports including: Develop a Community Outreach Program, Diversity, <br />Equity, and Inclusion Initiative, and Community Culture Campaign. <br /> <br />DEI INITIATIVE: <br />This program will include engagement efforts with historically underrepresented residents and <br />works to honor the diverse backgrounds throughout our community through branded banners and <br />design. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Staff recommends accepting grant funds from Ramsey County Community and Economic <br />Development for the 2024 Critical Corridors Commercial Corridor Initiative and authorizing <br />staff to sign and enter into a grant agreement upon receipt. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Attachment A: Summary of Critical Corridor Commercial Corridor Initiative Program <br />• Attachment B: Signed Resolution from Ramsey County awarding funds <br />
