<br />YESALI FELLOW WORK PLAN: <br />City staff is looking forward to meeting the selected individual that has been selected and has put <br />together a work plan for the 4-week program. The work plan includes a thorough review of past <br />accomplishments in Little Canada and an analysis of future sustainability initiatives that could be <br />included in the 2025 strategic planning process. The final work product will include a report for <br />the City Council that will utilize the YESALI fellow’s experience and training in environmental <br />sustainability to analyze sustainability efforts in other communities, research best practices, <br />identify potential nonprofit partners in the environmental sustainability space, and determine <br />potential grant opportunities or funding sources for municipal sustainability work. Staff will also <br />work with the YESALI fellow to establish civic engagement opportunities related to sustainable <br />development and the environment in Little Canada. <br /> <br />CULTURAL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES: <br />Staff plans to invite our fellow to participate in community events and attend City Council <br />meetings, workshops, and all applicable staff-level meetings during their time at Little Canada. <br /> <br />STRATEGIC PLAN INITIATIVE: <br />Preparation and data analysis for the 2025 Strategic Plan. <br /> <br />BUDGET IMPACT: <br />There is no cost to host a YSEALI Program Fellow. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Attachment A: YESALI Program Fellow informational flyer. <br /> <br /> <br />
