<br />19 <br /> <br />Diversity and Inclusion <br />Apadana will be performing the engineering and constructfon of the PV system. A subcontractor for the <br />installatfon may be required to meet project deadlines. Apadana is 100% minority owned and certffied as <br />MBE/SBE company under the MN CERT program. Apadana is owned and operated by first generatfon <br />immigrants and is committed to supportfng diversity and inclusion through our hiring practfces and company <br />policies. We currently have a diverse full-tfme staff, including 10 employees and electricians from Natfve <br />American, African American, Hispanic, Middle Eastern and Asian backgrounds. See CERT Certfficatfon, <br />attached. <br />Apadana will be procuring all electrical apparatus through ATEK Distributfon when possible. ATEK Distributfon, <br />part-owned by Apadana LLC, is a certffied service-disabled-veteran owned business certffied by NVBDC and the <br />state of MN. ATEK is also a certffied small business under the MN CERT program as a wholesale distributor of <br />Electrical apparatus and equipment, wiring supplies and related equipment. <br />Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) <br />All renewable energy credits (RECs) will be retained by the system owner <br />Solar on Public Buildings Grant Program <br />If selected, Apadana will be responsible for providing informatfon and supportfng preparatfon of documents to <br />contribute to the City’s grant applicatfon with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. Executfon of a <br />contract between the City and Apadana is contfngent upon receiving grant funding through the Minnesota <br />Solar on Public Buildings Grant Program. If selected, Apadana will be responsible for providing informatfon for <br />the grant applicatfon due in September 2024 including but not limited to: <br />• Contributing to review of applicant exceptions to State of MN Sample Grant Contract <br />• Developer contact information <br />• Project Information Final System size (kWdc) <br />o Final System size (kWac) <br />o Estimated Y1 system energy production (kWh) <br />o Final System energy production estimate report <br />o Updates to System site <br />• System Project Details System modules <br />o System inverters <br />o Description of permitting and interconnection process for the System <br />o Utility MOU <br />o System site plan <br />o One-line diagram, with legend, of the System <br />o Contributing to System proposal and proposed contract agreement between City and <br />developer <br />o 25Y Cashflow analysis <br />o Payment schedule to developer <br />o Developer’s plan to reduce capital expenses <br />o Developer prevailing wage assurance <br />o MPCA Recycling form
