The City hereby engage$ the services of the Corporation to <br />answer fire calls and fight fives and generally to pr*vide fire protection <br />to public and privste property within the City of Little C&Uad& for a <br />period of one+(1, year dating ,January if 1976 and terminati.ag <br />January 1# 1977. <br />2 M The Departmat agrees to answer all fire calls directed to It by <br />the public for aa$futa"ce in fighting fires of any nature and description <br />within the legal limits of the City. • <br />30 The City agrees to pay to the Corporation for its services during <br />the period above specs€iedg, and the Corporatiou agrees to accept as full <br />r9mmeration for its services during the said period g the sum of Thirty-nine <br />'thousand Five Hundred and No/100 Dollars ($39 a 500.00) payable in advance upon <br />the execution of this Contract. <br />4.
