Where State Aid Funds are used, the State Standards for Street Construction must be'conformed to. The Standards include a minimum bituminous thickness of 3", concrete curb & gutter, drainage structures and a standard width of 44' between curbs. Under certain rest'ri cti ve right-of-way conditions 36' between — gutters may be -af 1 owed . --- - Sec se -pf steep existing slopes and the +freeway right-of-way fene. e , it appears that we should stick to the existing 36' wi. dth. . We estimate the cost of a complete State Aid street between Spruce Street and the railroad tracks to be as follows: 44 foot street width. . . . . . .$103,000.00 36 foot street width. . . . .$ 819000.00 The ab..ove costs include grade correction, existing bituminous. base correction, concrete curb & gutter, a minimum of 3" of bituminous surface and turf established. Also miscellaneous overhead costs such as Engineering, legal, fiscal and administration.
