Chlebeck City Clerk City of Little Canada 515 Little Canada Road Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 Re: Westwinds Preliminary Plat Dear Mr. Chlebeck: We have reviewed the preliminary plat of Westwinds submitted by Westlund Construction Company and refereed to the District in your July 9, 1976 letter. The primary purpose of preliminary plat reviewal is to insure that the proposed development conforms to current drainage plans and to determine whether the development has any significant effect on other water resources in the area. At this time we see no problem with the proposed platting. Existing drainage systems are maintained and no storage sites are affected. Final design of the drainage system will be the responsibility of the. City of Little Canada. Under the terms of the District rules and regulations, a permit will be required for grading and site preparation. The developer should submit an application on District permit forms and should include a description of the method of erosion control which will be employed during site grading operations. Based upon the information provided, and subject to the acquisition of the necessary permits for grading, the preliminary plat is therefore approved. Note that District rules and regulations provide that District approval of the final plat be signified by the signature of the District's president on the final plat.
