JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br />This Agreement, made this day of by and between the Cities <br />of Arden Hills, New Brighton, Moundsview,.Shoreview, North Oaks, Roseville, <br />Little Canada, Lauderdale and Falcon Heights <br />all located in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota. <br />WHEREAS, the Northwest Youth Service Bureau has requested the <br />Municipalities which are parties to this Agreement to act as its sponsors <br />and to provide monetary support for its activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Councils of the parties to this Agreement have <br />made resolutions supporting the programs of the Northwest Youth Service <br />Bureau in concept and have agreed to share in the financial responsibility <br />for matching funds provided by State and Federal grants; and/or County funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties to this Agreement wish to define their <br />responsibilities and support for the Northwest Suburban Youth Service. Bureau <br />by the terms of this Joint Powers Agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT -IS AGREED by and between the parties hereto, as <br />follows: <br />1. The City of Roseville, Minnesota, is designated as the <br />sponsoring community and as such, shall provide the following services to the <br />Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau: <br />A. Accounting & Auditing Services <br />B. Printing & Zerox Services <br />C. Supply Acquisitions <br />The City of Roseville shall be reimbursed for the above services from the <br />regular budget of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureau on a fee for <br />cost basis. <br />2. Funds for operating the Northwest Suburban Youth Service <br />Bureau will be secured from grants or appropiations from State,.Federal <br />and County agencies and'in the event such grants require matching funds, the <br />parties to this Agreement shall provide such matching funds, based upon the <br />following formula: <br />On a per Capita basis using the Metropolitan Council Population <br />Data available at the lst of each calendar year for up to 45% <br />of the Northwest Suburban Youth Service Bureaus approved Budget. <br />The said Budget being made available for review as of May 31st <br />of the year proceeding the fiscal year. <br />1161 <br />Clerk's exhibit no. <br />1-1,ee t ing-7 -13-7 7 <br />'14� *ft0-1 <br />
