SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />Project: <br />Contract No. 78-1 <br />S C/1 <br />Contract work consists of a new amphitheater structure with related <br />grading, concrete work, and wood construction as shown on the <br />drawings. The oroject is located within Spooner Park near the <br />Little Canada Eiementary School on Eli Road in Little Canada. <br />2. Time for Completions <br />All work shall be completed within forty-five (4.5) calendar days <br />from the effective date of a notice to Proceed which will be issued <br />by the City as soon as the Contractor's bond and insurance have <br />been approved. <br />3. Liquidated Damages: <br />As actual damages for any delay in completion are impossible of <br />determination, the Contractor and Sureties shall be liable for <br />and shall pay to the City the sums hereinafter stipulated as <br />fixed, agreed and liquidated damages for each calendar day of <br />delay until the work is completed or accepted at the rate of <br />*20.00 per calendar day. <br />4. Permits and Codes: <br />The Contractor shall give all <br />applicable laws, ordinances, <br />5. Vandalism: <br />notices and comply with all <br />codes, rules, and regulations. <br />The Contractor shall protect his work from vandalism and any <br />damage resulting from vandalism up to the time of final accept- <br />ance shall be repaired by the Contractor at no additional <br />charge to the City. <br />6. The Contractor shall familiarize himself with the Drawings, the <br />Specifications, and the construction site prior to bidding. No <br />extra compensation will be allowed for conditions that are readily <br />apparent from a careful examination of the forementioned items. <br />7. Insurance: <br />a. The Contractor shall hold the City of Little Canada and the <br />Roseville"School District harmless from any and all claims <br />for injury and death to persons and for damage to property <br />resulting from or arising in connection with any of the <br />Contractor's operations under this Contract, and shell <br />defend any such claim asserted and/or suit brought against <br />the City of Little Canada or the Roseville School District <br />thereon, and shall pay any judgment against the City and the <br />
