Security- Since April 19th security people from the
Park Detective Agency had been hired to monitor the parking lot,
as well as the inside premises. I informed Thomas Duray, president
of the disco, that at 1 o'clock I wanted one of the security
people to make sure that noone was loitering in the parking lot.
Initially, the agency was filling out a report only if there was
an incident. Since approximately April 30th, I have changed that
and now they are reporting on an hourly basis. Please find
enclosed photocopies of the reports.
2. Fence- Some of the residents from the trailer court
thought that a fence would help the situation, consequently, a
fence is in the process of being erected between the trailer
court and the disco. This will not only keep patrons from
trespassing on the trailer courts property, but will have the
added effect of cutting down on any disturbance. .
3. Remodeling- The disco has expended considerable sums
in remodeling an improving the inside of the building itself.
4. Trailer Court- One of the employees of the disco talked
with several of the residents of the trailer court in back -of
the disco, and the majority of the people talked to thought
that the new owners were doing a good job, better than the
previous owners, and that they were concerned about the surrounding
community and were improving the place. Please see statement
signed by Ms. Mabel Boreson, who lives in the trailer court, which
statement is typical of the people who were interviewed.
Clerk's exhibit no. ollL_
Meeting May-10-1978
