POUND, Chair
CAROLE KRONENBERG, Clerk
CHARLES L. BRANDT, Treasurer
JOANNE CUSHMAN. Director
SUZANNE K. WELSCH, Director
WALTER PARSONS, JR., Director
At the time the contract with Little Canada for the
use of school lands for a public park was developed, the
School District had an architectural firm draw schematics
of the use of the site in the event a school would be
constructed or an addition made to the present Little
Canada Elementary School. City officials were aware of the
possible location of these School District facilities and,
I believe, had planned their use of the site in a way that
would require very little adjustment. The agreement requires
the City to gain approval of School District officials for
any major changes or improvements they are making to the
site and would seem to provide the adequate guidance to avoid
any major conflict with the School District purposes.
It does require that the City of Little Canada would need to
continue to follow the established procedure in receiving
approval for the use they would like to make of this property.
Sincerely,
Lloy C.
