The plat appears to comply, with one exception.
Outlot C, a very narrow strip of land on the south side of Ryan Drive, was never
shown on the preliminary plat. In addition, it creates what is defined by the
Ordinance as a reserve strip.
"RESERVE STRIPS are narrow strips of land usually withheld from the
street right-of-way to form a barrier between certain property and
the public street or thoroughfare."
Furthermore, Section 1006.050 of the Little Canada Platting Code states:
"Reserve Strips controlling access to streets are prohibited."
Mr. Ryan has been contacted regarding this matter and has agreed to have Outlot C
eliminated and include the narrow strip as part of the Ryan Drive street dedication.
This item should be reconfirmed prior to Council approval of the final plat.
cc: Joe Chiebeck
Clayton Parks
Don Carley
Art Ryan
CLERKr S ATTACHMENT NO • 1.8g
MEETING - August 9, 1971—
r
