11
September 18, 1978.
To: Little Canada Council.
Subject: Livestock Permit To Mel Hamel, 3250 Twin Lake Road.
We, the neighbors to the property reject giving Mel Hamel
a livestock permit.
In the past years the smell from horse manure has been
terrible on hot days and when the wind is blowing our
direction. More livestock will just create that much more smell.
In the past, large piles of manure have been thrown down the
bank toward the lake and in heavy rains, is washed down into
the lake. The crying of goats is also very disturbing.
Little Canada Code 1104,070 states,
It Because of the fact that there are no areas within
Little Canada zoned for farming and therefore it'is improper
and illegal to maintain or keep farm animals within the village."
Ne, the neighbors feel that no more livestock than the
two horses should be approved by the council.
Thank You,
3,2 7
/ h qVv
g J-7
3 JV3atj
-
333
Clerk's exhibit no, 222
Meeting Sept 27_78
