Farmers Market: The Farmers Market will take place Mondays from 2-6 June 17-October 7 at <br />2920 Rice Street. We have received nine vendor applications with four new vendors. Staff will <br />continue to reach out to both returning vendors, and possible new vendors for the upcoming <br />season. We look forward to continuing to provide SNAP/EBT at the Markets, and the Power of <br />Produce Club for youth ages 4-12. <br /> <br />City-Wide Garage Sale: The annual City-Wide Garage Sale will take place from Thursday, May <br />16, until Saturday, May 18. It is free to register for a sale, and participants can take advantage of <br />the City marketing their event! Staff will create a map with each garage sale marked and <br />information on the items at the locations. The registration deadline is Wednesday, May 8, 2024. <br /> <br /> <br />Upcoming Activities <br />Spring and summer registration for Youth and Adult Activities is open. Participants are <br />encouraged to sign up online using City’s recreation catalog, but they can also call or come to <br />City Hall to register. <br /> <br />Youth Friday Field Trips: The City has partnered with Roseville and Arden Hills to offer Friday <br />Field Trips for youth ages 6+. We will take a variety of trips each Friday from June 21-July 26! <br />The pickup location will be at the Roseville Skating Center. This year there will be no additional <br />charge for before or after care! Pickup and drop off are 8 AM and 5:30 PM. The cost for each <br />trip is $60 for residents and $70 for Non-Residents. <br />o Minnesota Zoo <br />o Anoka Aquatic Center and George Green Park <br />o Valley Fair <br />o St. Paul Saints Stadium Tour & Science Museum <br />o Cascade Bay <br /> <br />Adult Programs <br />- Master Gardener Class: These virtual classes are typically held on the last Tuesday of <br />the month. Upcoming class topics are: <br />o April 23- Home Composting <br />o May 23- Container Gardens <br />o June 25- Herb Gardening <br />- Adult Trips: Partnering with the surrounding city’s Parks & Recreation Department we <br />are excited to offer our residents the opportunity for adult trips throughout the year. <br />o June 20- Twins Game at Target Field <br />o July 16- The Jason Show & Pavek Museum <br />o August 14- Beautiful, the Carole King Musical at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater <br />o September 18- Cranberry Country <br />- Wednesday Walking Groups with Vadnais Heights (locations at Koehler & Spooner <br />Parks) <br />- Morning Talks (First Tuesday of the month) <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />• Little Canada Parks & Recreation Department Flyers
