Chapter 914 Specific Development Requirements Car Washes <br /> <br />914.070 Car Washes <br />A. The car wash shall not be within 100 feet of a Residential zoning district. <br />B. The vehicle entry or exit doors shall not face directly toward a property in a Residential <br />zoning district. <br />914.080 Child Care, Drop-In Programs <br />A drop-in child care program must be licensed under Minnesota Rules governing non- <br />residential child care centers. Refer also to use definition under the Rules and Definitions <br />chapter of this ordinance. <br />914.090 Convenience Stores <br />A. The gasoline dispensing pumps must maintain the appropriate license from the State. <br />B. The lights under the gasoline area canopy must be shielded from direct view from the <br />public street or other properties. <br />C. Trash handling and lighting must comply with the requirements in Chapter 915, General <br />Development Requirements. <br />914.100 Day Care Facilities, Child, Commercial <br />A. Children shall be delivered and removed daily. <br />B. The regulations and conditions are met for the Minnesota Department of Public Welfare, <br />Public Welfare Manual 11-31-30 as adopted or amended. <br />914.110 Drive-Up Window Service <br />A. Any business that dispenses merchandise through an exterior window that customers in <br />automobiles drive to shall provide a stacking lane that accommodates forecast traffic and <br />does not hinder other circulation or parking. <br />B. Drive-up lanes shall conform to the setbacks required for parking lots and circulation <br />aisles. <br />C. The service window and stacking lanes shall not be located in the front setback area. <br />D. The stacking lanes shall be screened from any adjacent residential use by a 90 percent <br />opaque fence. <br />914.120 Garages, Residential <br />Requirements for setback and height are found in the Residential zoning districts chapter of this <br />zoning ordinance. <br />914.130 Group Home or Residential Care Facility, Child or Adult <br />A. Any residential care facility, group home or in-home day care business for children or <br />adults must maintain the appropriate license from the State. <br />B. Parking requirements are presented in Section 915, General Development Requirements, <br />Parking Requirements, Off-Street.
