MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JULY 22, 2009 into Savage Lake. The Administrator indicated that he would follow up with Gopher )Jlectronies. The Council reported that City staff would keep Mr. Waite informed as to the status of letter to the DNR and Watershed. CONSENT Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: AGENDA RESOLUTION NO. 2009-7-I70 -APPROVING THE CONSENT AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: *APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; *APPROVAL OF GAMBLING LEASE AGREEMENTS AT HOGGSBREATHAND GORDIES' PLACE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA FIRE DEPARTMENT; *APPROVAL OFA COOPERATIVEAGREEMENT WITII RAMSEY COUNTY FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION ON LITTLE CANADA ROAD AND 35E AND A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR, PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT, AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. COMP Blesener asked the City Planner the status of the City's Comprehensive PLAN Plan update and if a meeting had been scheduled with the Met Council UPllATE and City representatives. The City Planner replied that his office has forwarded additional information to the Met Council, and he is expecting to hear from them soon. VALENTO The City Administrator reported that a neighborhood meeting was held LANE with the Valento Lane (Allen Avenue to LaBore Road) property owners NEIGHBOR- this past Monday on a possible mill and overlay improvement project. HOOD The meeting was not heavily attended, and the City Administrator MEETING that he has received some calls from property owners. There was some concern with the short timefiame and the ability of property owners to plan for the improvement expense. However, the property owners understood the favorable bids that the City has received for this work. The consensus at the neighborhood meeting was to move forward with an improvement hearing. 14
