MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 22, 2009 <br />into Savage Lake. The Administrator indicated that he would follow up <br />with Gopher )Jlectronies. <br />The Council reported that City staff would keep Mr. Waite informed as to <br />the status of letter to the DNR and Watershed. <br />CONSENT Mr. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-7-I70 -APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVAL OF GAMBLING LEASE AGREEMENTS AT <br />HOGGSBREATHAND GORDIES' PLACE FOR THE LITTLE <br />CANADA FIRE DEPARTMENT; <br />*APPROVAL OFA COOPERATIVEAGREEMENT WITII RAMSEY <br />COUNTY FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLE PREEMPTION ON LITTLE <br />CANADA ROAD AND 35E AND A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR, <br />PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT, AND FINANCE DIRECTOR <br />TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COMP Blesener asked the City Planner the status of the City's Comprehensive <br />PLAN Plan update and if a meeting had been scheduled with the Met Council <br />UPllATE and City representatives. The City Planner replied that his office has <br />forwarded additional information to the Met Council, and he is expecting <br />to hear from them soon. <br />VALENTO The City Administrator reported that a neighborhood meeting was held <br />LANE with the Valento Lane (Allen Avenue to LaBore Road) property owners <br />NEIGHBOR- this past Monday on a possible mill and overlay improvement project. <br />HOOD The meeting was not heavily attended, and the City Administrator <br />MEETING that he has received some calls from property owners. There was some <br />concern with the short timefiame and the ability of property owners to <br />plan for the improvement expense. However, the property owners <br />understood the favorable bids that the City has received for this work. The <br />consensus at the neighborhood meeting was to move forward with an <br />improvement hearing. <br />14 <br />
