MINUTES City Council (Cont'd.) January 9, 1980 Health Rocky Waite was the City's Health Inspector during 1979. Player Hanson Inspector reported that Mr. Waite is agreeable to continuing in this position for the year 1980. Mayor Hanson reported that Mr. Waite presently has a lawsuit pending against the City. Councilman Fahey stated that if someone has a complaint against the City, he feels they should not be appointed to a position> Mayor Manson state;! that the Council would ho1u off on the appointment of the Health Inspector. Appointment M'.,~o Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Of Fire f4arsha1l RESOLUTION PIO. 80-1-14 - APPOINTING b1R. CARL SPOONER AS THE CIT S FIRE MA FIALL FOR THE YEAR 1980 The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 6. Recreation Councilwoman Scalze stated that during 1979 Jim Morelan did an excellent Department jab as Recreation Director, and that Jam Graczyk and Hovrie Prudhome Appointments gave Jim a lot of help. The Recreation Association is recommending that Jim Morelan, James "Howie" Prudhome, and Jan Graczyk be appointed as Recreation Director and Assistant Directors, respectively, for the year 1980.
