The Council and <br /> the Planning Commission have made a feet/ more changes which Councilman <br /> Fahey outlined for the Planner. These are: <br /> Page 33 of the proposed Zoning Ordinance is eliminated. Paragraph <br /> A under Section 907.030 is eliminated and substituted with the <br /> sentence "All permitted accessory uses allowed in an R-1 district <br /> except agricultural equipment". Under both paragraphs A. and Q. of <br /> Section 907.050 3,000 square feet should be changed to 10,000 square <br /> feet. Un page 35 of paragraph C of Section 907.050 G5 feet should <br /> be changed to 75 feet. On page 39 5.a. the words "twenty-five (25)" <br /> should be changed to "fifteen (15)". <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that there will be a special joint meeting <br /> of the Planning Commission and the Council on Thursday, January 31, <br /> at 7:30 P.M. to review the Administration Section of the Zoning <br /> Ordinance. The Planner should a1 so attend that meeting, and hopefully <br /> the review of the Zoning Ordinance can be completed that evening. <br /> Sheriff's The City Clerk reported that the Sheriff will be holding a meeting <br /> Meeting on Thursday, January 31 'to discuss the purchase of a new car for <br /> the Sheriff's Department. This was not a budgeted item. The Clerk <br /> stated that he would attend this meeting. <br /> Senior (Mayor Hanson stated that the Council and Planning Commission should <br /> Citizen determine how much of the Scheier property the City would need for <br /> Dousing a senior citizen housing development. <br /> Project <br /> Councilman Fahey and Councilman Oe¢ace suggested that the City would <br /> need about 2 1/2 acres fora housing development of GO units. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested the City look at the 3 acres which are <br /> zoned R-1. These are lots 13, 14, 15, and 16, and the rest of the <br /> portion that is R-1. OeBace stated that the property by the lake <br /> would be expensive. <br /> Fahey suggested that perhaps the City could get a pedestrian easement. <br /> Councilman OeBace stated that i4r. Scheier may 6e flexible and that the <br /> City Attorney should contact him and explain what the City has in mind. <br /> Attorney Parks stated that Plr. Scheier may want a trade-off of some <br /> kind. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze stated that the development must have access to <br /> the Market Place. <br /> Page -7- <br /> <br />
