<br /> MINUTES <br /> <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> February 13, 1980 <br /> Belair There was no one present to submit the Belair Pizza Shop proposal to <br /> Pizza the Council. <br /> Shop <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-2-65 - TABLING CONSIDERATION OF THE <br /> BELAIR PIZZA SHOP PROPOSAL <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Scalze, Fahey, DeBace, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 40. <br /> Minneapolis There was no one present to submit the proposal for the Minneapolis <br /> Star And Star and Tribune building to the Council. <br /> Tribune <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-2-66 - TABLING CONSIDERATION OF <br /> THE MINNEAPOLIS STAR AND TRIBUNE DISTRIBUTION BUILDING <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nadeau, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 40. <br /> DeBace Mr. Robert DeBace appeared before the Council requesting approval of <br /> Industrial a building permit to construct an industrial building on the east side <br /> Building of Country Drive, just south of the Burlington Northern Railroad tracks. <br /> Mr. DeBace informed the Council that he will comply with the recommendations <br /> of the Planning Commission and the Planner on this building. DeBace also <br /> told the Council that he is meeting the setback requirements on all sides <br /> of the building, except for the north side of the building. On the <br /> north side, DeBace is requesting a variance of approximately five feet. <br /> DeBace also informed the Council that this building will be rental <br /> property and that he will have a two-hour fire rating on the building. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that he had no objections to granting the variance <br /> as the north side of the building fronts on NSP's easement for its <br /> power lines. Councilman Nadeau asked DeBace to submit to the Council <br /> approval from NSP for this variance. DeBace said that he would do so. <br /> Page -2- <br /> <br />
