MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> July 9, 1980 <br /> Parade Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Permit <br /> Canadian RESOLUTION N0. 80-7-269 - APPROVING A PARADE PERMIT <br /> Days FOR THE CANADIFlN DFlYS CELEBRATION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Flanson. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nadeau, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 172. <br /> Fence Councilwoman Scalze reported that the Recreation Department would like <br /> In to construct a fenced-in area in Spooner Park behind the garage for <br /> Spooner outside storage. The Recreation Department has received bids on the <br /> Park fence from Able Fence in the amount of $946.00 and from Metropolitan <br /> Fence in the amount of $544.00. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-7-270 - AWARDING THE BID OF METROPOLITAN <br /> FENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $544.00 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCED-IN <br /> AREA IN SPOONER PARK <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Flanson, DeBace, Nadeau, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 172. <br /> <br /> Yorkton Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission met with Larry Lee of <br /> Parks Yorkton. It was determined that the Park Commission and Larry Lee <br /> Dedication agreed to the park charge in question being assessed on an acreage <br /> Fees basis, however there is a 36 month deadline. The 36 months started <br /> on March of 1980. In March of 1983 all park charges in question must <br /> be paid, otherwise the park charges remaining will be reassessed at the <br /> current rate. At the end of 36 months any residential park charges <br /> remaining will be assessed at a cost of $300 per home. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-7-271 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF <br /> THE PARK COMMISSION TO ASSESS TFIE PARK CHARGE FOR YORKTON <br /> DEVELOPMENT BY ACREAGE PERCENTAGE TO BE PAID WITHIN 36 <br /> MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF MARCH OF 1980 OR IF NOT PAID WITHIN <br /> THIS 36 MONTHS, THE PARK CHARGE IS TO BE RE-ASSESSED AT THE <br /> CURRENT PARK CHARGE RATE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Nadeau, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 173. <br /> Page -21- <br /> <br />
