MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> July 23, 1980 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br /> 23rd day of July, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br /> located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> The Acting Mayor, Mr. Robert DeBace, chaired and called the meeting <br /> to order at 7:37 P. M. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Acting Mayor Mr. Robert DeBace <br /> Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br /> Councilman Mr. Roy Nadeau, Jr. <br /> Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: <br /> Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br /> ALSO PRESENT: <br /> City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br /> The City Clerk announced that there was a quorum of Council present. <br /> <br /> City Of Mr. Robert Voto of DeLaFlunt Voto & Co., Inc. appeared before the Council <br /> Little to present the Council with the City of Little Canada Annual Financial <br /> Canada Report dated December 31, 1979 and the City of Little Canada Management <br /> Management Report and Recommendations dated December 31, 1979. <br /> Report <br /> & Mr. Voto informed the Council that the City's Annual Financial Report <br /> Annual is in compliance with new state requirements. These new requirements <br /> Financial came about due to the recent situations in New York City and Cleveland. <br /> Report <br /> Mr. Voto informed the Council that he would go through the Management <br /> Report and Recommendations at tonight's meeting with the Council. <br /> Mr. Voto stated that the first recommendation that DeLaHunt Voto is <br /> making to the Council is that the City's financial accounting records <br /> convert to the new accounting system effective January 1, 1980. <br /> Mr. Voto pointed out that page 2 of the report indicates that there <br /> was a decrease in revenues from local taxes in 1979 as compared with <br /> 1978 and an increase in state aid revenue. <br /> Page 4 of the report indicates an increase of expenditures of the General <br /> and Special Revenue Funds of approximately $31,000.
