MINUTES City Council July 25, 1980 There is also an apparent discrepancy between the gallons of water billed by the St. Paul Water Department and the gallons of water the City has calculated as being consumed. It is recommended that the City investigate and resolve this situation. On page 26 of the report it is indicated that there has been a decrease of income in the Sewer Fund of $59,000. This is due to increased billings from Metro Waste Commission. The auditors are recommending that the City continue to monitor the billings from the St. Paul Water Department and the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission and establish utility rates in relation to these billings plus other operating expenses of the utility accounts. Mr. Voto indicated that a summary of the audit recommendations is on page 28 and page 29 of the Management Report. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 80-7-278 - ACCEPTING THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA'S ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT AND MANAGEMENT REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS DATED DECEMBER 31, 1979 FROM DeLaFIUNT VO70 & CO., INC. The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. Ayes (4) Fahey, Nadeau, Scalze, DeBace. Nayes (0 Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 178.
