MINUTES <br />City Council <br />March 11, 1981 <br />Advertise <br />Vacancy <br />On <br />Planning <br />Commission <br />Due to the resignation of Mr. Dick Boss there is a vacancy on the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-3-142 - AUTHORIZING THE ADVFRTISEMENT <br />OF TNE VACANCY ON THE PLFlNNING COMMISSION CREATED BY <br />MR. DICK BOSS'S RESIGNATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Hanson, Scalze. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 92. <br />Council Councilman Fahey stated that the fo1lowing items in the Councilmembers' <br />Information agenda was for information only: The Minnesota League announcement <br />pertaining to bonds; the Minnesota League announcement pertaining to <br />local government aid; the miscellaneous correspondence regarding the <br />presidential primary; and the schedule of public hearings the Council <br />will be holding in the month of April. <br />Pub1ic The City Clerk inquired u~hether the resident's of the City's trailer <br />Hearing parks should be notified regarding the public hearing on the proposed <br />Proposed rezoning of the City's trailer parks. <br />Rezoning <br />Of City's Mrs. Nardini stated that the residents of the trailer parks should not <br />Tra9ler be notified as these people are not property ovaners, but merely the <br />Parks tenants of the parks. <br />Mr. Forsberg agreed with Mrs. Nardini. <br />Councilman Fahey felt that as a matter of good government, the residents <br />of the trailer parks should be notified. <br />P4ayor Hanson stated that the public hearinq shou1d be held in the City <br />Center. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIO~I N0. 81-3-143 - DECLARING THAT RESIDENTS OF THE <br />CITY S TRAILER PARKS NEED NOT BE NOTIFIED OF THE UPCOMING <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS REGFlRDING TNE CITY'S PROPOSED REZONINGS OF <br />THESE TRAILER PARKS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />qyes (4) Forsberg, Scalze, Hanson, Nardini. <br />Nayes (1) fahey. <br />Reso1ution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 93. <br />Page -30- <br />
