Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its ado~tions <br />The Vouchers <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4«151y -,ApPROVING PAYMENT OF TIIE <br />VOUCHE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by itiIr. Hanson, <br />Ayes (5) ~ardinie Hanson, Fahey~ Forsberg, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution ap~ears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 102. <br />P~~~l~g Councilman Fahey stated that there is a vacancy on the Ylanning Commission <br />Commission due to the resignatiott of Dick Boss. The term is for S months, <br />Uacancy <br />1'he City has received applications from the Pollowing for this vacancy: <br />Mr. French, Mr. LaMay, and Nlx~, Davison. <br />Counci7. voted by ballot as followsc Mr. Fa,hey voted for Ivlr. llaviso.n; <br />Mr. Hanson voted Por i~ir. French; Mrs, Scalze voted for Mr, llavison; <br />Mrs. Nardini voted for Nir, LaMay, and Mr. F'orsberg abstained, <br />The City Attorney stated that an appointment to the Planning Commission <br />can only be made by a majority vote. Therefore9 this vote by the Council <br />cannot result in an appointment, <br />Mr, Forsberg stated tha~ he abstained from voting because both Mr, <br />French and i~ir, LaMay are friends of his and it was he who suggested <br />that they seek appoa.ntment, <br />NIr. Hanson suggested that this matter be taken up again later in the <br />meeting. <br />Linden Mrs, Linden~s grarzddaughter appeared before the Council requesLin~; the <br />Yropexty division o£ i~Is~s. Linden9s property and a variance to al7.ow the garage <br />Division on the ~roperty $a remain for one year. <br />The City Ylanner stated that this would be a subdivision and there <br />would be a park charge involved. Council had discussion on whether <br />the park charge would apply to both lots, or just the newly created <br />~.Ots <br />'Phe City Planner stated that according to the Cityss Ordinance 161, <br />the existing dwelling would receive credit for the park charge, and <br />a park charge would only apply io the newly created lot, <br />One of the residents of the area stated that he was opposed to the <br />property division as the area is becoming too congested, <br />Mayor Hanson stated that the property division meets a].1 City Codes. <br />i~lrs.
