MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 22~ 1981 <br />CANADIAN DAYS Mr. Hanson reported that Mr. Roger Moore has no objections to <br />using the Water Works right-of-way for parking during Canadian <br />Days. They will not be liable for damages to any cars. <br />Mr. Parks advised the Council in regards to the liability <br />on this property. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RE50LUTION NO. 81-7-387 - ADDR~SSING A LETTER TO THE <br />WATER WORKS DEPARTMENT RELEASING THEM FROM ANY LIABILITY <br />THAT TAKES PLACE DURING CANADIAN DAYS. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0) <br />~Resolution declared adopted. <br />This Resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 262 <br />Mrs. Scalze reported on the pr.ogress of the posts that are <br />being installed in Spooner Park. The curb stops have been <br />put in by Advent Homes. <br />FOWER LINE Z'he Park Commission has requested approval to send a prelim- <br />EASEMENT inary letter to people with easements along the power line <br />TRAILS in an effort to obtain access to this property to construct <br />a trail system. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RES~LUTION N0. 81-7-388 - APPROVING THE LETTER WRITTEN <br />BY THE PARK COMMISSION TO THE PEOPLE ON THE POWER LZNE <br />EASEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE PARK COMMISSION TO SEND <br />IT OUT. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hatrson~, Fahey, Scalze,:Fbrsbeng-, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0)~^,_ ., , , _ <br />,. ,~ ,~~.;y , <br />ResoluY.ion declared adopted. <br />This Resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 262 <br />CLYDE Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />HOFFMAN its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-7-389 - APPROVING THE FINAL PAYNENT <br />GF $500 (FIVE HUNDRED) TO CLYDE HOFFMAN. <br />Page 13 <br />
