MINUTES <br />City Council <br />September 9, 1981 <br />Mr. Carley also stated that the watermain would have to under the <br />blacktop on County Road ¢-2. <br />Mrs. Scalze asked the Engineer if he had any idea when the bike path <br />would go in. The Engineer thought that they would be installed next <br />summer. <br />Lift Station Mrs. Nard9ni reported that there is a small lift station at Gervais <br />At Gervais Beach. The County is using the City's sewer here, and they have not <br />Beach been charged for it. <br />Mr. Fahey instructed the City Clerk to check into this and report back <br />to the Council. <br />Granada Mr. Forsberg commented that there are some things Granada Homes must <br />Homes take care of w9th the City or they will lose their bond, Mr, fahey <br />commented that they have 60 days within which to get some easements <br />in to the City. <br />Improvement Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />No. 81 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-9-468 - APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATTONS <br />fOR CTTY WFlTERMAIN IMPROVEMENT N0. 81 AS SU6MITTED BY THE CITY <br />EMGINEER AND AUTFIORIZING 1'HE E~lGINEER TO TFlKE BIDS ON SUCH <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />The foregoing reso7ution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Pyes (4) Scalze, Forsberg, Nardini, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Pages 310 and 311. <br />Moderate The City Planner submittecl to the Council some information on the <br />Rehabilitation Metropolitan Council's Moderate Rehabilitation Program, The P1anner <br />Program will review this information and give the Counci7 a report at the <br />next Council meeting. <br />Constitution Acting Mayor Michael Fahey proclaimed the week of September 14 through <br />Week 20, 7981 as Constitution Week in the City of Little Canada as September <br />17 marks the 194th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution. <br />Signals On Mr. Fahey informed Council members that the letter in their agendas <br />Rice And from the Minnesota Department of Transportation regarding traffic signals <br />Demont at Rice and Demont is for their information only. <br />Page -16- <br />
