Nardini asked ii' the City o£ Maplewood has responded to the City~s <br />letter regarding tho Mueller proposa7., <br />Mr. Chlebeck stated that he has spoken to Maplewood on the telephone <br />and the onl.y thing they are concerned about is sirens. <br />Council expressed cottcern that they had xiothing in writing from the <br />City of Maplewood on this proposal. <br />Mr. Bob Mueller infozmed the Council that sirens would not be turned on <br />until the ambulance got onto Riae Street or Highway 36. <br />Mr. Fahey questioned what would happen if tYae City of Maplewood did not <br />like the Mueller proposal~ but it complied with all City ordinances. <br />Mr.Forsberg informed the new City Attorney that in this area the Maplewood <br />property is zoned high density and the Little Canada property is zoned <br />business warehousing. <br />Mr. Sweeney informed the Council that the City is not obligated to in£orm <br />the City of Maplewood in this situation. If Niaplewood does not like the <br />proposa:l.~ the City still has the option o~ passing on it, Mr, Sweeney <br />stated that if there is a violation o£ the law Maplewood has the option <br />of taking the matter to c,ourt. However, Sweeney did not feel this was <br />the case in this situat.ion. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that he was for the project 100°b with the exception <br />of the helicopter. Forsberg did not feel this was the right 7ocation <br />for a helicopter landizag pad. Forsberg stated that there are people in <br />the City who share his £eelings on this~ and feel that this would be a <br />nuisance. <br />Mrs. Nardini instructed Mr. Bob ~iueller to be sure to subma.t to the <br />City drainage plans and all current and up-to-date plans for the proposal <br />as soon as possible, Nardini stated that the City would like up-dated <br />plans in accordance with the Planner~s recommendations on the proposal. <br />Mrs. Nardini i~atroduced the £ollowing resolution and moved its adpption: <br />RESOLU'PION N0. 82-1-2L~ - AYPktOVING THE MIJEI,LER PROPOSAL <br />CUNTIN ENT UPON ALL OF THE ITEMS SPECIFIF~D BY THE PLANNER <br />ARE COMPLIED WITH AND FURTHER SUBJECT TO TAE RECEIPT UF <br />UP-DATED PLANS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (~a) Nardini, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey. <br />Nayes (1) F'orsberg. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appeaxs in Resolution Book No. 8~ Page 12, <br />Brooks Hanna and Bishara Ailabouni have submitted application to the City for <br />Superette the license transfer of the Brooks Superette Licenses for cigarettes <br />License and off-sale non-intoxicating liquor. <br />Trans£er <br />Page -11- <br />
