BEVERLY SCALZE <br />AS THE ACTING MAYOR UF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA F'OR <br />THE YEAR 19f32 <br />The foregoing xesolutipri was duly seconded by Mr, Hanson, <br />Ayes (1~) Nardini, Hanson, Forsberg, F~'ahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution dec].ared adopted, <br />Mrs. Scalze abstained. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution 13ook No. 8, Page 2, <br />City Attorney Ntr, Hanson stated that the City Council completed its interviews o£ <br />Appointrnent applicants for the City Attorney position and have decided upon the <br />firrn of 5weeney~ p~Connor & Lamay. Mr. Hanson stated that he and Mr. <br />Forsbexg were not in favor of making a change in this position, but <br />he was willing to support the appointment of the new firm, <br />Mr. F'orsberg stated that it was his belief that he would get along <br />£ine with the £irm that has been selected, <br />P~ir. Mr. Sweeney then introduced other members <br />of the law firm, Mr, Jim O~Connor, Mr. John LaMay and Mr. George Borer. <br />Sweeney informed the Council that Messrs. O~Connor and Borer would be <br />handling the criminal work for the City while he would be handling the <br />civil worx. <br />Attorney The City Clerk submitted to the Council £or approval the contract between <br />Contract the City of Little Canada and the firm of Sweeney~ O~Connor & LaMay. <br />Mr. Sweeney suggested that the date oi' January 13, 19t12 be inserted on <br />page two of the contract. <br />Yage -2- <br />
