PfINUT~S <br />City Council <br />February 24, 1982 <br />Glen Mayor Hanson opened the public hearing on the G1en Van Guilder variance <br />Van Guilder request for two access driveways on one lot. The property is located <br />Variance at 475 Viking Drive. A property division is also being requested. <br />Hearing Mr. Zack, a neighbor of the property involved, informed the Council that <br />he had no objection to the variance being granted. <br />Mr. Forsberg asked if the road easement would be noted on the property <br />deed. Mx. Fahey stated that the Planner has recommended that the survey <br />include the drainage easement. <br />Mr. Van Guilder stated that he had no objections to the recommendations <br />of the PLanner. <br />The Planner staYed that the Location of the Williams Pipeline through <br />the property would have some bearing on the Location of a buiiding on <br />the property. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that the driveway easement should be filed at the <br />Courthouse. The Planner agreed. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the followin~ resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82-2-103 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC H~ARING ON TIIE <br />GLEN VA~ GOILD~R VARSANCE REQUEST <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Hanson, Forsberg, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 65. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the follotoing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />R~SOLUTION N0. 82-2-104 - APPROVING THE GLEN VAN GUILDER <br />VARIANCE REQUEST FOR TWO ACCrSS DRTV~WAYS ON A SINGLE LOT <br />AND TH~ SUBDIVISION AS PRESENTED WITH THE STIPULATION <br />THAT NO BUILDING PERDIIT BE ISSUED UNTIL TEIE SURVEY, <br />PROPERTY DIVISION AND DRIVEt~IAY EASGMENT ARE RECORD~D WITH THE <br />COUNTY ANA PROVIDED THAT MR. VAN GUILDER COMPLIFS WI'PH TH~ <br />PLANNER'S RECOMMENDATIONS AND DF.CLARING TIiAT THE VARIANCE IS <br />BEING GRANTED DUE TO TH~ TOPOGRAPHY OF TEIE PROPERTY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey, <br />Ayes (4) Scalze, Fahey, Forsberg, Flanson. <br />Nayes (0), <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Ilook No. 8~ Page 66, <br />Mr. Hanson stated that the survey should be reviecoed by the City <br />Engineer. <br />Mr. Sweeney cLarified that Mr. Van Guilder will submit a certificate <br />of survey indicating the driveway easement which wi11 be recorded coith <br />the County. <br />Page -11- <br />
