Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />R~SOLUTION N0, 82-2-105 - GRAN'PING TENTATIVE APPROVAL <br />TO TF[E JOHN MITCHELL AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE REQUEST <br />PROVIDED MR. MITCHrLL AGREES TO ABSORB ALL COSTS ACCURED <br />SY THE CITY PLANNER~ CITY A'CTORNEY~ CITY ENGINEER AND <br />TF[E CITY Or LITTLE CANADA FOR ANY ZONING CHANGES OR <br />ANYTIIING ELSE NECESSARY TO CONFORM TO THE GUIDELIN~S <br />OF AN AGRICULTURAL PRGSERVE <br />The for.egoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Forsberg, Scalze, Iianson, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 67. <br />Mr. Mitchell informed the Council that relative to some previous discussion <br />about a developer donating planting materials to the City~ the Forestry <br />Department will give the City trees. Mr. Mitchell suggested that the <br />City contact the Department about thi.s and place an order in the £all, <br />Mr. Hanson stated that he will inform the City Tree Inspector o£ this <br />and also will be £orwarding the Tree Inspector some information regarding <br />Arbor Day. <br />Ga~;ne Mr. Hanson in£ormed the Council that Mr. Gagne has applied £or a variance <br />Matter and a conditional use permit and the matter goes before the Planning <br />Commission at their March 4 meeting. <br />Mr. Gagne informed the Council khat he and the City's IIuilding Inspector <br />could not decide whether or not his building has more than 1,000 square <br />feet. Due to some corrective work thaC was required by the Buiiding <br />Znspector, Mr. Gagne now feels that his building has less than 1,000 <br />square feet of usable space. Mr. Gagne stated that he wouLd like a <br />definition of usable floox space. <br />hir. Fahey asked if the City's ordinance said usable floor space or just <br />floor space. <br />Mr. Hanson suggested that perhaps the Building Inspector should be contacted <br />on this. The City Clerk commented that he would not be in the office the <br />rest of the week. <br />hir. Gagne questioned if he now needed a conditional use permit £or the <br />building, <br />Page -13- <br />
