Scalze opened the public hearing on the £ollowing; approve a <br />Partnership subdivisi.on~ new plat for the Viking Partnership proposal; grant a <br />Proposal variance to construct two pylon signs; and grant a variance £or <br />multi-signs on the premises. <br />~Irs. Scalze pointed out that the Ylanning Commission recommended <br />approval of the preliminary plat. <br />Mrs. 3calze asked why the Council should be considering the variances <br />for signs when it does not have the preliminary plat. <br />Mr. Nielson stated that the City staf£ has requeated the replatting <br />of the property. The developer has asked that the process be continued <br />and any approvals be contingent upon the approval of the preliminary <br />plat. The Planner stated that he just received the new plat in his <br />office on Monday. <br />Mr. Fahey commented that the hearing could be held and any action on <br />the sign variances could be tabled. <br />Page _4_ <br />
