The;;~~r~k~:alarms were not working because they wer.e <br />turned off because the management Ee1t they made too much noise. Nardini <br />stated that sYae has review~ed the Code and under the Code, a building <br />owner must a.nspecC smoke alarms and report to the Fir.e Marshall monthly <br />that they are opez~ating. Narciini stated that the Ca.ty musC be protected, <br />Mrs. Scalze commented that usually one of the first parties sued i.s the <br />Czty, <br />Pixs. Nardini commented that she £eels Mr, Locke as doin~ an excellenC <br />job and she £eels some of the publicity has not been deserved.
