These will be at the City Genter for. anyane wishing <br />ta review. She wi.ll also provi.d~ a complete bookle~ to each Council <br />person. The booklet contains an explanation of the system and how <br />the CiCy budget overlaps with Lhe I,iCtle Canada RecreaCion Associati.on. <br />There is also a comparison of the systems o£ 8 neighboring communities, <br />includi.n~ the par..k land dedicaCi.on fees of the surroundin~ communxties. <br />Mrs. Scalxe reported that the City has correspondence fxom the Park <br />Commassion and the School Ai.strict, The Roseville parks and recreatS.an <br />depar.tment will be putting on about hal£ of the summer schoo7. programs <br />this year, They have contacted Little Canada £or some help in doing <br />this. Ther.e£ose, the Little Canada Recreation Association wi.7.1 be, <br />provi.ding transporta~ion for summer school. LasC year the cost was <br />appr.oximately $1,200 =~,nd Che serva.ce prp~iided to approximately 180 <br />children. <br />Mrs. Scalze xeported that the CiCy~s r.ecreation department will. be <br />provi.di.ng the f'lyers on this serv3ce. <br />Regi.stration wi.ll be handled by calli.ng the Ci~ty Center and at ~he <br />time tha~ chi7.dren sign up £or summex s+:hool. The 12ecreation AssociaCion <br />wi11 be working out the bus picic-up route. <br />Daseball Mrs. Scalze reported that a£Cer the City had awarded the b9.d for <br />Hats baseball hats to Mary Lyn Pra.nters, Mr. Morelan osdered the haCs <br />from Munteen Hedman aC a lower price than quoted from M€a°::y Lyn YrinCers. <br />Additi.on Scalze stated that she reviewed thi.s with the ACtorney who irafor.mecl <br />'I'o The her ~hat it was legal. There is a savi.ngs o£ approximately $130. <br />Agenda <br />The Attorney suggested that the Council resci.nd its previous motion <br />aYrar.ding the bid to Mary Lyn Pra.nter.s and then award the bid of Munteen <br />Hedman, <br />Mr. Fahey s~aCed that the satuation resulCed because o£ some conEusiora. <br />Mr. Morelan did not aslz Munteen Hedman £or a quote ~.nitially because <br />he was of Che impression that they could not put emblems on haLs. <br />Hosoever, in picking up a d'afferent order from Munteen Hedman he 1e.arned <br />Chat they could provide Y.he hats £ox the City and they quoCed hlr. Morelan <br />a price.
