H. 36 WITHIN SEC. 7 TWN 29 <br />R 22~ RAMSEY COUNTY~ MINNESOTA. <br />Kloskin Sign <br />Relocation <br />Item No. 15 <br />~'o4S GaA ¢ . <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by.Mrs. ~-rrrr; <br />Ayes (4) Forsberg, Nardini, Hanson, Fahey. <br />Nayes (1) Scalze. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 8, Page 373. <br />Mr. Kloskin, Boat & Motor Mart, 2764 Rice Street, has made application <br />to relocate his sign, but since he has not contacted the Building <br />Inspector, the Council did not take action on this matter. <br />Mr. Fahey would like to check back to the minutes referring to <br />the relocation oi signs. <br />Ramsey Action Mary O'ROUrke, representative from the Ramsey Action Program located <br />Program in the McDonough Housing Project, appeared before the Council ex- <br />plaining the large scope of programs provided by Ramsey Action. <br />They are recruiting members to serve on the Advisory Council. <br />Election will be September 20 & 21. <br />Metaltronics Mr. Hanson opened the Public Hearing on the parking requirement <br />Item No. 6 variance requested by Metaltronics for their proposed building on <br />Yorkton Court. <br />Mrs. E. Mariana, 24 E. South Owasso Blvd., appeared before the <br />Council and spoke in favor of the variance. <br />Mr. Edward Scheehy and Mr. Chris Billota represented Metaltronics. <br />Mr. Scheehy explained that the building would be a 40,000 sq. ft. <br />office warehouse. They do not anticipate more than 35 employees. <br />He presented a proposed plan for 41 paved parking stalls, with an <br />area for future parking. <br />The Council discussed the possibility of a letter of credit as an <br />assurance that ample parking would be made available in the future <br />if needed. They also discussed a letter of agreement which would <br />be kept in the City records. <br />Mr. Forsberg did not agree with giving a variance. It was his <br />opinion that they go with the ordinance. <br />Mr. Larry Lee appeared and spoke in favor of the variance. <br />The Council discussed what would be suitable surfacing for the <br />area not proposed for asphalt. <br />Page -3- <br />
