Porsberg reported that there are some par(cing problem i.n the Probl.ems Ci.ty and there have been a few complaints about them. Porsberp, reported that there are usuall.y about 5 or 6 cars parlced on Ruth Agenda Street. Icem ~o. 16 Mr. Forsberg reported that the City of Maplewood has a parl<ing ban for on-street parkin~ from P:fi.dni~ht unr.i.l 6 A.M. each morni.ng. Mr. Porsberg sugPested that the Counci.l look at a 2 A.M. until 6 A.M, parki.ng ban f.or. LitCle Canada. ForsUerg stated that: there are pros and con, t:o ch:i.s proposal. yr. L'ahey sug~;ested that the CiCy look at this on a street-by-street basis i.f problems occur.. Mr. Porsber~ suggested that i.t be consi.der.ed City-wide. I'orsberg; commented that there are some people who have never shoveled thei.r dr:i.veways and just use the street for parlci.np,. Pahey st:ated that he would pr.eEer the street-by-street basi.s where there are proven traffi.c probiems. Mr. F'orsberp, sup.,gested that the Council think about this. Mrs. ~ardini. sup,F;ested that the City Clerlc investi~ate what other cities do in this regard. Speed Lim:it Mrs. Scalze reported that tlie Council previously discussed lowering On Edgerton the speed li.mit on ]?cigerton. Scalze stated that i.n the past the County has i.nd:i.cated thaC thi.s i.s the concern of the State. Mrs. Non-Agenda Scalze asl<ed if: the City has ever contacted Cl~e State about this. Item No. 7.
