Mr. Fahey stated that he did not feel <br />it was f.air to treat the Mayor as a second-class ci.tizen by mal<ing <br />the Mayor run f.or re-electi.on every t~oo years. <br />Mrs. Nardini. suggested that the Council. would be second-p,uessing the <br />previous Council that set tlie Alayor's term at two years. <br />Mr. Fahey pointed out that the Ci.ty could lose experience and perhaps <br />leadership by the two year [erm. <br />P1rs.
