<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Fischer and Members of the City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Bill Dircks, Public Works Director <br /> <br />DATE: November 13, 2024 <br /> <br />RE: 2024 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project – Final Pay Request <br /> <br /> <br />ACTION TO BE CONSIDERED: <br />Motion to make final payment to Insituform Technologies, LLC in the amount of $31,545.12. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The 2024 Sewer Lining Project has been completed. This project included the rehabilitation of <br />approximately 5,500 linear feet of the city’s existing sanitary sewer system along with the <br />rehabilitation of nine manholes. The contractor has done some final touch ups on a couple of the <br />manhole structure repairs and will keep an eye on them for the next year while the product is <br />under warranty. <br /> <br />SOURCE OF FUNDS: <br />Funds will be used from the Sewer and Water Capital Improvement Fund – Fund <br />604. $310,505.13 has been budgeted in 2024 and a portion of the work will be covered by Met <br />Council Inflow & Infiltration grant funds. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />All items requested for payment have been completed in full. Based on this, staff recommends <br />final payment be made to Insituform Technologies, LLC in the amount of $31,545.12. <br /> <br />
